Well located boutique style hotel, situated on a side street within an easy walk of the town centre and beachfront. Comfortable room and bed , good bathroom. Nice breakfast room, good breakfast including a selection of savoury and sweet pastries. Friendly reception . Would stay again.

Great place to stay, staff are very friendly and helpful, rooms nice and clean and also serviced daily. Location is ideal, only a couple of minutes walk from the main part of the town, whilst being very quiet at night for a good nights sleep. Really can’t fault this hotel at all! We hope to stay again in the future.

A wonderful stay at Villa Koegui! The staff were brilliant and so kind and attentive. The location in Biarritz was ideal; everything was within walking distance and only a short taxi ride from Biarritz airport. The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and extremely clean. We loved it, our only complaint was not staying longer! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a very small hotel. We had a lovely room. The staff were all very helpful with supplies that were missing from our room. They helped us with restaurant suggestions and reservations. The hotel is right in town, minutes to everywhere. We did not have the breakfast, as 18 euros for what was offered seemed high compared to other hotels.

Great location, however vehicle parking is not very convenient and with the one way streets, it is difficult to access the hotel from the parkade. The breakfast, service and staff were excellent and the proximity to key Biarritz areas is great. Good value for money!!

PROs: Perfectly located, pleasant staff, well equipped, comfortable small hotel with a nice lounge and outdoor area. Very cosy! CONS: Rooms can get quite tiny for 4*, good enough for one person but corridor floors and walls need maintenance. You are entering via staircase with polished aluminum edge (safety?) - watch out in rain!

Convenient and nice

This is a lovely little hotel within walking distance of the beach and all the restaurants and cafes. The woman in charge is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, and the aircon and showers are superb. The only downside to our stay was that the wifi never worked for the entire 3 days we were there. We were told that was because 'the internet in Biarritz is poor', with a gallic shrug. But for over £200 a night we'd hoped for a bit more than this. Breakfasts seemed a bit steep - 17 euros per person for a continental breakfast consisting of bread and cheese - so we opted to go to a cafe on the street. Nevertheless, this was a very nice place to stay an I'd recommend it, so long as you don't need the internet.

I recently stayed at Villa Koegui and found the experience disappointing, especially considering its four-star rating. Based on the standards of other four-star hotels in town, Villa Koegui falls short in several areas. The pro was the quiet street, clean, good location. We booked a superior room, which is the middle option offered. The decor was minimal and reminiscent of an IKEA showroom, lacking the charm or warmth I expected. The room was also quite small, which made it feel cramped and less comfortable than anticipated. One of the most glaring issues was the lack of amenities. There were no bathrobes or slippers, which are typically standard in a four-star hotel. Additionally, the hotel only offers a small interior courtyard, which does not add much to the overall experience. The internet was another significant problem; it was often not working, and when it did, the connection was painfully slow. As a VIP guest, I anticipated some added perks, but this aspect of the stay was also underwhelming. We were not offered a room upgrade, and the complimentary bottle of wine turned out to be just a small airplane-sized bottle, barely enough for a single glass. This stinginess seems to encapsulate the overall experience at Villa Koegui. Overall, Villa Koegui did not meet the expectations set by its four-star status. The lack of amenities, subpar room quality, and disappointing VIP perks make it difficult to recommend this hotel compared to others in the area.
