The check in process was so easy and we got there early but they still let us have access to our room without an additional charge (rare in this day and age!). The staff were so accommodating, I had hurt my ankle a few days prior and required icing which they were only too willing to make a temporary ice bag for me. "Some staff were really helpful and solved problems well. Other younger desk staff made mistakes (got room number wrong for taxi and almost sent driver away, then called a second taxi while driver was still there) or were unhelpful and gave up easily (looked for a lost jacket indifferently). Older desk staff made much more of an effort and found coat easily. Younger staff lacked a willingness to work."

"I read a previous reviewer who commented on how dark the walls were. I thought that was a silly comment, but now I get it. You can barely see 2 feet in front of you in the hallways as the lighting is so dim and the walls are painted blk or gray. Rather outdated furnishings, dirty carpets, and homeless people going in and out of the little tiny lobby area.
