Kitchen setup was just a microwave and a mini fridge. The fridge was definitely welcomed. Room was clean, and room itself was in good condition, not perfect, but good for the stay. Walking distance to a lot of things was a huge plus. Back Bay Area is definitely desirable as the other areas tend to get so crowded, noisy, and not easily navigated.

Great stay

Convenient location! My friend and I love to walk! It was about 30 mins walk to little Italy. But about 12 mins to the main park and freedom trail. Small room but comfortable and just what we needed for our stay. They let us leave our luggage early for a fee.

We really liked this property; it's conveniently located on Newbury Street, with everything close by. The room was clean and comfortable. Our only complaint was the 12 flights of stairs, we wish we had known about that before booking. We had a large suitcase, and carrying it up to the 4th floor was definitely not fun. Otherwise, our stay was great!

I liked the door code check-in - it takes zero seconds. I also appreciate that I saved a lot of money on my stay. I felt safe and the bedding was very nice. The property is rather old and decades beyond needing a total renovation. A lot of repairs and maintenance are slipshod. Many fixtures look like they were purchased second hand and moved here. The doors have lots of filled holes from previous lock mounting, for example. The cold water was never cold, leaving the shower too hot to use. If you're okay with hostels, this can be an okay choice, but it's not a "hotel". An extensive list of rules they send you before check-in indicates they have problems with some guests; however, everyone during my mid-week stay was quiet and respectful.

Hi The place was a bit outdated and can use some upgrade. The microwave is one good example. The wallpaper is peeling off. The floors are scuffed and the curtain rod was rusted. The location was terrific and the self serve element was also really nice. I felt very safe but I was missing a bit of luxury for the price we paid.

The property is in a good location for our visit. The room itself was comfortable and nicely decorated. Walking up the stairs to the 4th floor reminded me the building is older and a little difficult to navigate with bags, but otherwise in good shape.

The building is like an apartment, the room a bed with a closet and bathroom (depending on what you book). It was clean and comfortable and I felt safe. Within walking distance of the Common, train station, and the Freedom Trail. Good communication with staff via text/email. I’d stay again! Clean, conveniently located. Small apartment, with a comfortable bed, tiny but functional bathroom and kitchen, walkable, felt safe even in the late evening. Although it's close to the highway, I couldn't hear it at all from the apartment I was in.

Good location. Central to Subway and within walking distance of city sites. However, i wasn't aware the building is a converted walk-up row house. I was on the third floor and the staircase is very narrow and steep. Peeling wall paper, no towel rack in bathroom, one hanger in the closet and no cups for coffee or water though they provide a coffee maker and coffee. Bathroom had large patches of paint that were an entirely different color from the rest of the room. None of this, of course, is shown on website photos.

Would definitely stay here again!

The apartment suite was very quaint but comfortable. The communication was top tier. If I had and questions they would answer by text or phone within 5 minutes. The staff were always positive and nice. When I come back for a personal visit, I will stay here and you should!

Great location, great communication. Perfect place to stay if you just need a place to sleep close to the train station. Expect it to be… rustic. Bring shower shoes for the shared bathroom. The bed was super comfortable. It’s a tiny space, but has everything you need if you’re not going to be in the room much. Overall, good experience. Just don’t go into it expecting the space to be perfect.

Not the Ritz but I’d definitely stay again

This is not the Ritz, but I knew that when I booked it. What it is: clean, comfortable and convenient. The shared bathroom wouldn’t be my first choice but again, it’s not the Ritz which is why the price is reasonable. The lack of options in terms of TV channels allowed me to appreciate how much I have missed Frasier.. I would definitely stay again.

Bay view stay

I recently stayed at a hotel in Boston with a bay view. The location of the hotel was great, and it was easy to communicate with the staff. However, I found that the building and room were starting to look tired and could use some updating. On the positive side, there were plenty of things to do in the area, and the check-in process was smooth. Overall, the hotel's location and communication were excellent, but improvements could be made in terms of the building and room condition.
