The hotel rooms were brand new and extremely clean. The hotel beds were so thick and soft. Even the duvet covers were so fresh. But what sets this hotel apart is their customer service and the staff's willingness to help and assist. We arrived a bit earlier than the standard check in time of 3pm and they still gave us a room without any extra charge. The swimming pool was quite unlike other resorts in Boracay that was so small you can hear everyone around you. This is the perfect place if you want to have a quiet and clean space to stay after a full day of activities in the island.

Hard to sleep, but good location
Good location - attached to a mall a very short walk from a quiet part of the beach.
The air conditioning was super loud even at the lowest setting, and not just in our room (maintenance guy was kind to let us check different rooms to see if we could move there, but it was just as bad there). The walls also let through a lot of sound. This made it very hard to sleep.
The breakfast would have been perfectly acceptable, but they were apparently understaffed because they repeatedly ran out of coffee, glasses, bread, juice, and more

Tried and Tested
Another fabulous stay in Canyon Hotels Resorts Boracay. This is now my go to hotel in Boracay Island due to its cleanliness and service. On top of that, the price is extremely reasonable and the beds are so comfortable. There is an e trike terminal around the property so getting a ride is very easy. This time I tried and hop on hop off buses which stop right infant of the hotel's mall entrance. I liked this as I did not get wet at all even when the weather was a bit rainy. You can also use the free shuttle of the hotel to go to d mall, just make sure you ask the shuttle schedule.
The hotel stay was quite pleasant. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and very clean. The location was fine. The only thing that was terrible is the hotel breakfast that was served by a restaurant next to the hotel. It was a very unprofessional and non conducive setup. One of the worst breakfast I have experienced and that includes the location where it was served. Food was also not good.

The hotel is in a nice spot, a 5 minute walk from Station 1 and/or Diniwid and a 20 minute walk from Station 2/D'mall.
The room was huge and always very clean, and the soundproofing was actually quite nice, I was able to rest pretty well every day.
The hotel has got a pool, which is however, not particularly good. The water is 90cm high and, especially at night when there are light beams inside the pool, you can see that it is not particularly clean, with hair and other stuff floating in it (moreover, I could not find a toilet at the swimming pool - maybe there is one, but i didn't see it, whi knows - and, since the pool is always attended by plenty of kids, the idea that they relieve themselves in the water struck my mind more than once).
The hotel offers no services like in room dining or shuttle service to the jetty port.
Staff was usually professional but not particularly friendly, they seem way more interested in trying to charge you extra fees (like cleaning fees or lost card fees) than in actually helping you. When I left they made a 5 minute check of the room in order to understand whether to charge me extra money or not, complaining about a "missing towel card" (I had used that and the towel was in my room)...ironically when checking they apparently didn't notice I had left some clothes, I wonder why...
Breakfast is kinda boring and the fact the it closes at 9 AM is definitely annoying.
The hotel itself was impeccably clean. Checking in was a very matter of fact/assembly line experience - "Sir, you're an hour early, so you need to return at such and such a time." I'd have used that moment to make it more personal: "Sir, you're a little early, but let me see if we can't get you in a little early...Oh, I'm so sorry sir, I've checked everything, and there's just not a room available at this time. I'm sorry to make you wait, but we'll make sure you have the best stay." That little bit, which could've gone a really long way, would have taken an additional minute or so of the front desk person's time. Also, they fumbled the check-out process by delaying my departure (I was already running behind for my flight) over a room key they said their room inspector, who checked the room twice, couldn't find. So, I ended up having to head back to the room myself and where was it? Not under the bed or in the bathtub. It was literally chilling on the very first table you see as you want into the room. After doing their job for them, there wasn't so much as a cursory apology. Again, if you're gonna fumble something, I hope it's over something significant. Oh, and one more thing, it was impossible to reach their hotel line by phone from the outside. Like, why even have a phone if you're not gonna answer it? I realize that it's a big establishment and they probably check people in who have status, but still, it's not an excuse to treat your average guest with indifference.
The Good: The hotel is new and the rooms are spacious. It is attached to some stores if you need to buy some essentials and a couple eateries. The rooms are clean. This hotel is not in the main/ busy part which can be a good thing. You can walk or take a tricycle to get to the other parts.
What can be improved: They had a big group check in while we were there. The next morning the breakfast area was not prepared. They kept running out of food. The workers were clearly working hard to refill. The next day, they had the same issue. They kept running out of food. Again, the staff was trying hard to keep up but trays were empty. You would think that after what happened the morning before, they would've adjusted their sysyem to accommodate and improve. Perhaps whoever is doing the scheduling needs to adjust their staff schedule to accommodate busy times. The staff were trying their best but there is so much they could do in the moment if advance planning and preparations weren't made. The selection at breakfast could also be improved. People have tours to catch and places to be and should not have to wait around for breakfast to be refilled.
Once they make their improvements this hotel would be a great choice at a good price

Highly recommend!!! The room are huge and very spacious.
Extremely convenient. It's attached to a mall so it has a super market, laundry, ATM, food, department store etc.
Free shuttle to the main part of town. Also there are always trikes available immediately outside for hire if you don't want to wait for the shuttle.
Room was nice, spacious, clean and comfortable. Air conditioning was great no issues, hot and cold water was also reliable.
During night time the street near the hotel has a lot of street food which is great if you want to try more local stuff.
There should be more variety on food fore breakfast .

I had a frustrating stay at Canon Hotel Boracay. After accidentally cancelling a room, the hotel ignored my messages and refused to refund the money. The staff were unhelpful, and I was unfairly charged extra for a 10-year-old child. The hotel failed to honor a free dinner card due to poor communication, and their breakfast caused my family to get diarrhea, ruining our vacation. Overall, the hotel lacks good customer service and I do not recommend staying here.
Clean room. More than enough space for 2 people. Clean linens and towels. Aircon works. Staff have manners.
