This is my most favorite place in Idaho (I almost don't want to share it, but please leave no trace and take care of our forest.) A 2 mile mostly flat trail takes you to the edge of the Sawtooth Wilderness area. You can hike or bike in (no bikes into the wilderness area.) A few downed trees may be on trail so beaware when riding bike. Directions- just before Redfish lake lodge, parking on left, trail on right.

"The place was beautiful (way better than a hotel room). The only reason I docked a star was because under a side table on the outside of the kitchen, there were a ton of spider webs and spiders. Spiders freak me out. Luckily my husband easily took care of it. The guest parking sign should be more visible so people dont miss it. Or maybe put some solar lights around it so it stands out in the dark. "

"The cabin doesn't look great from the outside and needs some work, but the inside is absolutely adorable, inviting and clean. Host was helpful when we needed help after power went out. The only reasons I wouldn't stay again is because of the lack of hot water and the high pet fee which is double most places. If you book on Expedia it's not obvious where you pay the pet fee. Close to golf course, beautiful, quiet location. "

"Our son lives only 4 blocks away, so location was perfect! Also an easy work to downtown or Hyde Park section. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. It was especially nice to have a private, well maintained outdoor space since our weather was great. The only area in need of improvement in my opinion was the mattress. It is on the softer side which may be a problem for some people. We slept okay but would have preferred it firmer. That said, I would stay here again...
