We really enjoyed the stay. My only complaint is , the rooms needed ac units in them. They had 1 big portable in living room it was not enough to keep bedrooms cool enough @ night. They should invest in some split units for this place. Other than that i would give it over all 5/5

I have pictures and videos of this horrible unsafe condition. Bug's all over dropping off the ceiling threw the night all over the walls and floors. Dirty sheets other people's hair and glasses in the bed and some type of orange stains. Tube had other people's hair, mold, staind towels, toilet was not clean. The bathroom amenities had been opened and used prior to us. On the other bedroom it looked like mouse poop on the bed sheet. We had to remove our shoes and socks because the floor in the kitchen we kept catching on their LVP or laminate flooring because it's uneven and coming apart so we had to be barefoot stepping on bugs to the point where our feet were disgusting black. There was holes in the walls. Dead bugs and mold in the window seals. The walls had painted bubbling. Even though it says that we could check in early unless people were there we were not able to. So we had to find a place to go until we could check in at 4pm it was raining and we had kids with us. Our 11/2 year old and 9 year old had gotten really wet and even though it said it had washer and dryer it didn't. So no we couldn't wash our sheets or even dry our clothes from being wet. There was ant traps on the floor and on the counter when I made coffee we found out that there was bugs in our coffee. We also found a pill in the couch that our 1 1/2 years old could have gotten a hold of. With balloons that she did find. All the towels were staind but one. I would like a refund for our stay.

The cottage itself was not to bad but is obviously older and on arriving there was a strong musty odor. After opening the widows it somewhat subsided but was always present. The cottage has no air conditioning save a portable unit that did not work. Idaho summers can get quite hot even though it does cool in the evenings. However with no way to move the air, not even a fan it took some time to cool down. The internet was not working when we arrived and we were told it was out all over town. However when it came back up we received a message from the provider that service was suspended due to lack of payment. Contacted the host again and was told to try another network but there was no other network. It was frustrating because we were going to do some work while staying there. Luckily the cell service is good but there is no free Wi-Fi. To top everything off the coffee machine also didn't work so no coffee unless you drive to the local gas station. I think the host with some very small changes could have a nice rental but he needs to work on a few things. We didn't come there to hang out at the cottage but will use different accommodations next time.
