"The water view room was light, bright and airy despite being a little small. Both cleaning and guest services teams were very professional and friendly and the beds were very comfortable. Despite being in the heart of town, the room was surprisingly quiet. An extra bonus was being on flat ground, near the water and within walking distance of most attractions. Happy not to have to hike/taxi the incredibly steep hills of Airlie after a night out. "

"I had a ocean view room with a generous size balcony , room was clean & Bathroom had a bathtub / spa. Check in was easy & Staff were friendly."

"What I liked about this property is that it an older building but they have made an effort to update it and make it felt like home. Had a laundry but no view with the room I got but this was explained to me why and that was ok, as I was on a work trip and it was only for one night so it really didn't matter. "

"Really terrible! I could ignore the previous guests towels hanging up drying on the porch, the shower not cleaned, but I couldn’t ignore that the bed had bedbugs!!! For the price of the room, I would expect a minimum of a clean bed, I could feel them crawling and biting me all night. I spoke with a staff member the next morning and they said they would investigate and call me back…of course no return call. I guess the next guest will have the same problem! I moved to Airlie Beach Hotel for a fraction more cost, but wonderfully clean and I had a great sleep! Definitely not returning!"
