"The rooms are great. They are large, modern and very clean. There is plenty of room to move around. It's in a wooded area so it feels a bit secluded. The views out the rooms are nice. The staff is great. There is a lady there that is either the owner or manager and she is wonderful. She knows the area, makes great suggestions on food and fun stuff to do. She is very kind, polite and generous. She made drinks for my son and I (hot coco and tea). She was fun to talk to. I wrote this...

"The room was nice and recently remodeled. However the lotion dispenser was empty in both rooms I stayed at. In 1 of them the shampoo dispenser was almost empty and the defective showerhead would spray water all over. "

"It was our first time staying in the north side of Lake Tahoe. Cedar Glen Lodge excelled my expectation. From the most fun, smiling and friendly staff, to the most peaceful, quite, secured, clean property. My family enjoyed our stay for two days; wish we can stay for more. "Great stay"

"This place is overpriced, dirty feeling, dark, and staff assistance non existent. No wifi except piggy backing off the casino. The casino is a small and dingy as well. I do not recommend. 40 min from Reno with the fastest way driving back to 80 in Cali - Truckee."

"Occupant regulated wall heaters - loud, no thermostat. TV didn’t work. Could overhear other rooms at normal conversation level. Dingy interior"

"It’s a disappointment because I thought I booked a hotel but we end up in a motel room by the time we check in.we had no choice but to take it..we don’t use an airconditioner because it smells like cigarettes if you turn it on..they don’t let people know that the hotel itself are running on renovation.. We are not going back there again! "

"Motel 6 had great coffee at the office also within a mile grocery store, walking distance to Starbucks also city mall and beginning of downtown about half mile very centrally located. The room was efficiently laid out with device ports and electrical plugs conveniently located in the room room. it was very clean the staff very pleasant and helpful it was a great stay"

"The rooms were dingy. The floor carpet seemed dirty and had an odor. The amenities seemed outdated and in a not-so-great condition. The staff was friendly and the place has ample parking."

"Likeside unit does not mean beach front unit. So manage your expectations. The room was a bit worn but I understand each unit has a different owner so I don't think the condition is the same in each room. They do not provide daily housekeeping."

"clean room (does need some updates, especially in the bathroom) .... breakfast was OK, but definitely NOT "top rated" ..... cereal or toast .... I was disappointed there was no reading chair in the room (which is shown in the description photos)..... my wife prefers a real chair to sitting on the bed..... the manager was able to pull a chair from the breakfast room .... not as good as expected, but...."

"Great hotel"

"I know it was abnormally warm this Tim’s of the year there but the rooms were incredibly warm and had a very hard time sleeping. They did provide us a fan but barely worked. Terrible that the hotel is controlled for the entire hotel and not each room. Front staff at check in was great and very accommodating "

"The room was not made up and we had to go back to the desk to be assigned a different room. The toilet didn’t flush and the shower head did not work well. "

"The virtual assistance at the front desk was extremely rude - stating she was super busy and will get to help us when she can. Our plug stopped working so microwave and toaster didn’t work. We had no internet thought the storm was over. No priorities and cleaners never came. Basically, it’s a fend do yourself type of place - good luck is anything happens someone will come help you. "
