10/10 Excellent

"Very clean and comfortable rooms, great shower, fridge in rooms. Superb breakfast buffet including hot breakfast and lunch items (the beef stew was the best) and very good coffee. I used the wet sauna which was perfectly hot but I did not like that towels are not provided at the pool/sauna. The dry sauna was under repair. Very good location (walk to mall, supermarket, bus stop, and beach) and quiet for sleeping. Friendly staff. Highly recommend!"

"the rooms are very nice with good views. But service fails a lot. Ask for room cleaning and when you come back it has not been done. Also personnel go among different floors with the intercoms at high volume as if it were a construction site with no inhabitants. It is a lack of respect the way employees communicate among them as if they were in the Vietnam War. Intercom should be heard ONLY by them, not by all the guests. I told them many times for many years but it seems nobody cares. Anyway I will go on lodging there because it is my favorite in town"

"The staff were friendly and excellent. In the first room the AC stopped working and we had to switch rooms the second night. The card keys stopped working multiple times and we had to go to the front desk to get new ones. I found a giant cockroach in the drawer with my clothes the second day when we had to switch rooms. The building is old and tired. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good"

"Despite nice and helpful staff, the rooms were dirty and poorly maintained in both rooms we stayed in. Key features were sticky floors, bathroom leaks, water damage. The room fob system malfunctioned and the poor staffer had to completely take apart the mechanism and override it. Oh and the bathroom door handle fell off in my hand and they never repaired it. Also, I made a rookie traveler mistake, but watch out for the ice in the restaurant and steer away from any water in the hotel since it gave me my worst bout of traveler's diarrhea in years. Lastly, the online photos make the place look like luxury at the beach and must have been airbrushed or they have a fabulous photographer. We've stayed in some dingy hotels all around the world, but never paid so much for so little."

"We stayed here with my husband and family, and our experience was truly special. Every time we come back to Recife, we choose this hotel because of the incredible people who work here. The location is also extremely convenient, especially given its proximity to the airport, which makes traveling much easier. The staff, Genesio, Ivan, Davi, Everton, Roberto, Armando, Lincoln, Maria Lucia, Lidma, and Carlos (I hope I remembered everyone correctly), are absolutely nice and amazing. They consistently go above and beyond, making every stay feel warm and personal. They don’t treat you like just another guest; they make you feel welcomed, valued, and at home. People like them are the reason guests keep coming back, and they are truly the heart of this hotel. Breakfast was excellent, everyone was extremely helpful, and it was always one of the highlights of our stay. The only reason I’m not giving a perfect review is that, considering the price of the stay, the rooms could use better upkeep. Unfortunately, there was quite a bit of mold in the room, which was disappointing. This hotel has so much potential, thanks to its genuinely exceptional service and staff. With better room maintenance, the experience would be absolutely perfect. Also, the smoking area should be moved ASAP; it's not really good in front of the hotel."
