"Mattresses were exceedingly firm but supportive, breakfast was basic but filling and hot, bar unfortunately closed at 10:30, parking good. Check in easy but not sure about the practice of requiring a £50 deposit on top of prepaid stay with the promise it will be refunded within 10 days. Overall good value for money."

"I had a lovely stay at Aberley House, whilst taking in 2 days golf at Royal Birkdale for the British Open. The location was great and just a 10 minute walk to the train station and local amenities. Plenty of parking available and I found the property very clean and the host was very helpful. The games room was an extra bonus. Breakfast was very good and I would stay here again if in the area."
