"Not wanting a stuffy hotel we opted for an apartment type rental. Full kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Having a couch to feel at home to watch TV made our stay homey. Absolutely loved the decor with a theme throughout the place. I love the charm of the old homes and this one didn’t disappoint. If I get back to Staunton I will definitely stay here! "

"The condo was small but perfect for what we were looking for. Working fireplace with lots of wood on the walkway. Pullout bed in the living room is in front of the fireplace, very cozy. Would rent again."

"It was great to wake up to bird song instead of traffic noise, and almost everything I needed for my 4-day stay was there--even coffee and filters for the coffeemaker, which I didn't use because I brought my own, and dish detergent, a sponge, towels, etc. The shower control was very hard to pull out to increase water pressure, and the area rug in the front/bedroom seemed not to have been vacuumed in a while, as I discovered because I forgot my yoga mat. "The loft apartment was super cool, and we loved all the extra effort the host made to make it a fun place to visit. Everything inside worked perfectly, including the sauna and the record player. We visited from Liverpool, England, and it was so fun to put on the Beatles on vinyl! The location makes all of historic Staunton walkable, and there are many of useful stores, and many cute stores, and plenty of good options to eat out right there. "The apartment was located in a quiet historic neighborhood a couple blocks from downtown. It was much larger than expected from the pictures and had everything we needed and more. Loved the decorations. We enjoyed walking around the area and looking at all the old buildings. The downtown area had a lot of good restaurants and shops. Was convenient to Shanandoah National Park for hiking. "

"Wonderful communication with property owner, great little place right on the slope, didn't realize it would have a locker for equipment, which was super cool and convenient. Great price, have already recommend this place to friends!"
