"The location of this property is unbeatable. Close to the ocean and an easy walk to downtown. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I liked the parking which had a cost but was very convenient. They need to do a bit of work on the place. There was some areas in the room that needed painting and plaster work. The shower and bathroom was excellent. Breakfast was very good. "

"I arrived at The Great Western for 5 nights B&B and my pre booked parking space was ready when I pulled into the car park. The lady on reception was welcoming and talked me through the booking in process. My room was on the second floor, and there is a lift or stairs to get there. Definitely easier in the lift if you have bags. I was very impressed with my double room that overlooked the front car park and main road. It was very spacious and clean. This time we stayed in a room with a sea view balcony, which had a lovely view and was clean, tidy and comfortable but with a modern and homey feel.
