"This is the perfect place to unwind in style and enjoy a bit of luxury on a budget. We loved the hot tub, gorgeous gardens, tennis court, and having fine dining on site was an unexpected bonus. Truly, you have to eat at the restaurant, it is next level. The staff are super friendly and even let my husband into our room hours before check in so he could work while he waited for me to arrive. We will be back!"

"We stayed in the cottage. It is a great spot to be away from other guests so was nice and quiet however the cottage itself is starting to show its age a little with some unrepaired damage to walls, etc. None of that bothered us, however I know some people can be very particular about these things. The biggest complaint especially for us getting to the room after dark is the lack of lighting down the path and to the front door. It really is an accident waiting to happen and could easily be fixed...

"Nice location with great views from the rooms. The rooms however do need a modernization (the bathrooms in particular) and the floors were a bit smeary with residue of cleanser. Be aware that the road leading there has many pot-holes (a warning sign would be helpful, especially when arriving in the dark) and while that may not be in the purview of the hotel, those on the driveway and parking area should at least be fixed by the hotel."
