"This is an extended stay place and very affordable. Bare bones and not luxury, but we really just needed a bed for the night. It was not super clean or well maintained, and they have some colorful guests, but for $100 a night that’s what I expect. I did not see any bugs (I don’t do bugs). Water pressure was lousy, but we had clean towels and soap. Beds have cheap microfiber or some other kind of fabric instead of cotton and there was a mystery spill on the floor next to the bed. "This property was not what we would expect from a chain such as the Wyndham. When we arrived, the lobby was messy and loud and had a funny odor. We were tired so we checked in and went to our room on the 3rd floor. Immediately, we realized the hallway smelled of vomit and there were unpicked up plates and dishes from what appeared to be room service. Our room was also messy as we found hair on the bathroom floor, a sink that was not fully cleaned and a cockroach that we stepped on and killed....

"We stayed for only one night. Our experience was top notch. This is a great old hotel with an 1800’s vibe, but impeccably restored. Rooms are clean, well appointed and the staff were all friendly and helpful, especially Bill at the front desk. It’s right in the center of the action in town. The restaurant was also great, good food and good value."
