Great location - you can walk into town and leave the car parked at the B&B. Good breakfast and good shower.

The charming old fashioned rooms at the property had all the essentials, clean rooms and bathrooms, micro-wave oven, TV, and refrigerator, The breakfast was bacon, eggs, toast and some extras. The parking was good too. We enjoyed our stay.

The bedroom was in Victorian style and a nice modern bathroom. Great lighting, heating, and air conditioning available. Very clean.

The carpet in the Devon bedroom was filthy. The host was wonderful. We enjoyed breakfast.

It was a cute little old place not far from town. The Inn Keeper was very friendly and welcoming and even though the house itself was very old and looked like it could use an update, his kind care made all the difference. I recommend staying. You need to take your car into town because of the massive hill but it’s still very close and convenient in a sweet little neighborhood. A little bit of fresh local jam would be a nice addition to breakfast. We would stay there again. It’s safe, close, friendly and very close to the town.

It was a beautiful location, the bed was comfy and the room clean. They even accommodated our breakfast at 8 instead of the standard 9am because we had a whitewater trip and we had to be there at 9. Kyle was amazing and gave us good tips for around the area. Thank you again for making our stay memorable for fiancee and I.

Staff was beyond excellent. We definitely would give the two of them a 10 star rating. Room was very clean. Loved the 1800s decor and theme to the house.

The B & B was very nice and tastefully decorated. People who visit have to realize that these are old, remodeled homes and decor is based on owners tastes. The common refrigerator was always stocked with water, juice and milk. Hot water for tea was always available and there was a Keurig with a well stocked k-cup coffee basket. I enjoyed my stay and recommend it.

I hesitate to say anything negative, but it is an old house, and that has some drawbacks. It was clean, everything worked, and all the boxes were checked, so to speak. Kyle, the on-site property manager prepared a nice breakfast each day, and was responsive to our questions and needs. He gave us some good information about the town, what to do and what to look for. Our room was on the third floor of a three-story house, with the slanted ceilings that one sees in those places. I banged my head on several occasions; maybe that was my fault. The stairs are steep, so going up and down - especially with luggage - is a bit of a challenge. The bed was fairly comfortable and the other furnishings, including in the common areas, were tasteful and comfortable. The window A/C unit was quite loud but it got the job done. Overall, I gave it four stars and I think that's fair.

Hillcrest is up the hill a few minutes walk to downtown, in a very quiet area. The bedroom could use some updating - old curtains, drapes, bedspread, etc. - looks rundown. Bed was comfortable but room was very dusty. The house was just sold to a new owner, so the house is in transition. I do want to comment that the Innkeeper/B&B hosts that live on the property, Kyle and Christy Ann, (not the owners) are extremely nice and helpful.

Kyle, the man running the B&B, was extremely nice. He worked hard to make it a memorable stay for us. The breakfasts were fresh, with plenty for everyone. The house is very close to town, but not so close that you had the stress of crowds nearby. Jim Thorpe is definitely a tourist town, but there is tons to do for everyone. I would absolutely stay here again.
