"We loved this retreat, it was the last leg of our trip and it was neat to be able to stay in a turf house. Everything there was made locally in Iceland you can tell the owners put a lot of thought in it and the private soak tub for each house was lovely. We got to see the northern lights the service was excellent and the house had a full kitchen and dining table to eat."

Room was well appointed although with the dark walls and furnishings it was dark even with all the lights on and window curtains open. Fine for us but maybe not if you have to work in the room."
