"Photos can not capture the beautiful scenery at the villa. You are surrounded by nature and the view of the Northern Lights surrounds the area when they are dancing. Our teens, young adults, middle-aged, and senior family members were all able to enjoy the spacious layout. Travel to local sights is easy and worth it in order to be in the tranquil quiet by the lake. I highly recommend staying here. The owners are wonderful hosts."

"Lovely room, with large bathroom with robes and slippers provided. Continental breakfast provided with some hot food ie scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages. Staff were very helpful, allowed to check in slightly earlier out out slightly later. We were disappointed with the hot pools not quite what we had expected. Saying that the sauna by them was excellent. Bring a towel to sit on a seating gets hot."

Huge food scene just around the corner! My only advice is to people driving here, they have free parking for guests but very limited spaces. Luckily the street parking is free after 9pm. Other than that, I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Reykjavik"
