"The property itself was very outdated and not the most clean but it served its purpose for a family friendly, pet friendly stop on a road trip. The pool area needs work and the rooms were not clean at all, stains on carpeting and curtains but bedding and towels were clean. The breakfast was really pleasant and a lot of offerings. The staff was so helpful and friendly, providing a basketball for my kids to play on the court and when I inquired about an ice maker to fill my cooler the kitchen...

"It was pretty good. We didnt even get a chance to check out the pool or gym or anything. The elevators were having problems and parking a block down the street in a rundown parking lot that also had elevator issuesis a pain,especially if you are in a hurry. Our room in general was not in great shape. The staff was friendly."

"Good location. Close to the convention center if you have a need to be there. Because of this, however, I suspect large groups are always at this hotel. When we arrived, there was a USA gymnastics event in town. The lobby was overrun with girls, parents and noise all evening. Our room was fairly quiet though. Updates needed for sticky doors and loose outlets/ports. Overall 4/5"

"Not the greatest neighborhood, but the bed was clean and comfortable, however the floor was filthy (as my husband had white socks on and they were black). A lot of humidity in the room and it seemed damp. Went down once to ask a question to the person working the front desk - nowhere to be found. Also asked later about pizza places - he mentioned Domino's(?) but we found a Pies & Pints a few blocks away (which was really good!) Picked this place because it was close to 77 and it had...

"The overall property was nice, but our room had a few issues. 1) Used floss was stuck on the table between the beds. I'm unsure how it was missed when the bed was made. 2) We had to fix the TV ourselves - the wall/connections need to be fixed. 3) We were left with very little toilet paper with no extra roll (we know we could have called for extra but we got in late. It would help to have one extra "on the ready")."

"Sarah checked us in and was extremely helpful. We had arrived early and our rooms were ready for check in. She assisted with recommendations for hiking and restaurants in the area. We stayed for two days and had a lovely time. The staff was nice and courteous. Very nice rooms with updated amenities. Definitely recommend staying here and will stay here again if I'm back in the area"

"I have stayed here twice, but will not be staying here again. I get a not-so-subtle signal that I am not the kind of customer you are looking for. Both times I stayed here the TV in the lobby and the TV in the breakfast room were tuned to FOX. With such a divided country, it isn’t difficult to see what this franchisee, or the Wyndham Corp itself, is trying to say. I’ll be interested to see if other Wyndham locations so the same."

"We have been staying at this hotel at least twice a year for 8 years. The staff are always welcoming, kind and helpful. My complaint is that new ownership (we were told this by staff) has taken over and the cost of the rooms went up significantly. The cost has outpaced the return and sadly — we will find another place to stay in the future. This is not a reflection on the staff — they are and have always been great."

"We stayed because we needed enough room for 5, that was good. The building is old and alittle run down. First the door wouldn't open, we finally got it to open. We closed the door and needed something else from the car and the door wouldn't open. After several tries we finally got it open. The attendant had to come and take part of the threshold off the bottom of the door,so we could get in and out. I wouldn't stay there again."

"Other than what seemed like an elephant in the room above me which isn’t the fault of the hotel, my stay was amazing. Clean room. Friendly staff. Pool is very clean. This is my new “go to” when visiting WV."

"We chose this hotel because it had 2 treadmills. We arrived and 1 was broken. No one knew why or any idea when it would be fixed. More importantly no one cared. Had to spend extra money at planet fitness. Nobody cared."
