"Pros: Property looks exactly as pictured and truly breathtaking. We booked the overwater bungalow and loved being able to jump in the clear water for a swim whenever we wanted. Restaurant, pool staff, and housekeeping were so nice and very helpful. Cons: Food is resort food and to be expected. Just okay. Lost a star in the rating for the front desk service. No help with bags on checkout from the bungalows. No help with taxi or transportation like what was offered at the Hilton Tahiti property....

"The hosts could not have been nicer. They spoke both French and English. The food was outstanding for a fair price. I would not have eaten anywhere else for food as good. "The hotel rooms are constructed at an angle so each person’s patio is very private. The grounds are lovely with a nice pool. There is a restaurant right at the black sand beach edge. They serve a buffet breakfast at about $20 per person. The hotel is in a quiet, safe area. It is on the opposite side of Papeete than the airport. So taxi ride at least $20 from the hotel to the city center. Also from airport to hotel at night it was $50 taxi. I suspect that was a padded fee. "
