"Great place to stay in town. Center of everything and I’m front of the ferries. Stayed there twice during my time in Papeete. Got the cabin bunk for a solo traveler no complaints communal showers outside that separates men and woman. Easy place for easy travelers. "

"The hotel appears to be fairly new. The room smelt of fresh paint, clean and a good size. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom and kitchenette area was a good size. The location is approximately 15 minute taxi drive from the airport, which was perfect, especially with an early morning flight. The only disappointment is no onsite restaurant. "We had our dinner on the rooftop restaurant. I had the raw beef and it was delicious. Female saxophone player for a while. Breakfast was good. My only real complaint was that our shower was totally out of shampoo and body wash. The first floor waiting area is beautiful and comfortable for waiting in after checking out. Our room was the separate casita on the property and close to a large communal outdoor kitchen that appeared to be fully stocked with coffee and tea for the morning. "Great breakfast— large buffet at about $30 per person Grounds lovely and well taken care of. Rooms large. Pool nice. Access to the beach not easy , seemed like a steep drop off. The water wasn’t inviting. Would recommend but not for beach."

"The property and staff are as expected. We enjoyed our time here. My only dissapointment is that when the airline delivered our lost luggage to the hotel they failed to notify us it was in their storage. There it stayed untill we tracked it down just before our departure."

"Excellent view, Beautiful black sand beach had quite a bit of trash on it, Food was ok, pool definitely needs repair but was functional, Faucet in bathroom was completely loose from the sink the flush button on the toilet was broken Lots of chickens crowing very early in the am There was a used condom in the couch. Staff was friendly Over all I would not recommend staying here until upgrades are made. The property appears underfunded for repairs and maintenance"

"Clean and very spacious hotel. Staff are mostly friendly and quite lovely except for the receptionist at one point. Very rude. I had stored my bags with the front desk while waiting for my transport and when I went to pick this up she handled the situation very rudely and unprofessionally in the way she spoke to me. Not only did she leave it to the last minute until the transport arrived but she couldn’t find the keys to open the store room and was attending to others while I was waiting. Apart...

"We loved this lodge! It has an incredible view from the balcony. We had the entire upstairs available to us, but only needed one of the two bedrooms, the bathroom & the use of the kettle & refrigerator. We had all we needed & more! The owner is very nice & she took great care of us while we were there. Highly recommend the TeMana Lodge!"
