"The room was clean. The bed was OK in comfort. What they need to do is make sure the toilets are higher than what they are. I am 75 years old and the toilet seat was so loaded to the ground I could’ve been sitting on the ground! I don’t remember his name, but the gentleman who checked me in was very pleasant. Ask if there was anything else that I needed. I would stay again for one night on my way to Tioga Pass."

"The deluxe room with 2 queen beds we stayed in was certainly in need of some updating, but it was clean and comfortable. Importantly to us, it was reasonably priced. In fact, we paid more for our one night stay at Bishop’s Motel 6 for less amenities. We requested a room upstairs and away from Main Street and that request was made."

"Great stay! The property is thoughtfully maintained, our room was decorated with style & practicality, parking was conveniently close to the room, the room was quiet, it was a safe area, and there was a coffee/bakery/deli place just down the street. Lots to love at El Rancho!"

"This is one of the few hotels/motels in Bishop that allows people who stay there to leave a small amount of items to be collected on their return stay... very useful for those of us who are hiking in the mountains and want to leave a change of clothes behind to wear on the plane ride home !"
