"This was the cleanest hotel I have stayed at in Birmingham. The cost was very affordable and it has all the amenities that you could think of. The staff was amazing and very welcoming here. I will be staying here more often!"

"The hotel was not what I expected for a Hampton Inn. It’s an old, downtown hotel, being renovated by Hampton Inn. I liked the historic bones of the property, combined with the usual cleanliness and convenience of a Hampton Inn. The staff were all wonderful and I was very impressed with the valet service and how it was automated. My one complaint would be the smell. "They were very friendly and the room was updated and nice! Plenty of options for parking and polite staff. only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the exterior door would not lock/latch during our stay despite it supposedly needing the key card to enter and having signs saying it would stay locked 24/7"
