Pleasantly Surprised

The hotel was good considering the price we payed, everyone we spoke to was friendly, and the room was ideal for ourselves and two dogs. We stayed 3 nights, and will use this hotel again.

weekend break

we stayed at the superior hotel for a weekend break to catch up ith family . On arrival we needed to change room to a gound floor room due to problems I hve with stairs . The staff where very helpfull and gave us a ground floor room no problem.The hotel was clean and all staff where very help . There is a bus stop outside the hotel for easy of bus routes,and a kfc acroos the road.Dudley town centre is a five minute taxi ride or 15 minute walk. we enjoyed our stay and would reurn again.

Not over thrilled

The rooms are very dated, nothing like on the advertising pictures.we drove past it once thinking it was a derelict building and looked closed down. Entrance is not inviting and the rooms are less than basic to be honest.

Room comfortable however we had to ask for toiletries as there was only conditioner in the bathroom this was quickly rectified you could smell the room was freshly painted but there splatters of paint on the bathroom floor and carpet think the later should be renewed , staff were friendly

It’s cheap for a reason

Just a very unpleasant hotel. The hotel door had previously kicked in and can be seen by the bad repair. The carpets were dirty in the corridors and room. Locals we visited said about its reputation.

Really good stay

Don't get the negative reviews, for the price we paid it was good. Was on the basic side, but everything worked, it's clean, comfortable, staff were helpful when I asked for more towels, no noise, slept really well. Lots around for food too.

Poor - no - service

We didn’t stay. Very poor service, or no service, walked in and there was no one at front desk, had to wait in poorly decorated reception area with worn out furniture, hot drinks machine was out of order, had to contact front desk to use hot drinks machine which you couldn’t because there was no one available, had to ring the hotel on my mobile from reception to get someone’s attention, then they couldn’t find reservation and was told “you can give me a reservation number but it won’t mean anything to me”. Was given a key to a room which was also poorly decorated and in need of some tlc. The hallways stank of weed. We decided not to stay.

Not great

Very old fashioned and out dated decor. Doors left open along corridor where washing machine/dirty linen kept which I think should really be kept shut. Dirty towels in bathroom, bath had old water at the bottom of it. Felt bit unclean. Thankfully Tesco was close to get antibacterial wipes. On ground floor and window didn’t close properly. Thankfully only stayed the one night

Hot Hot Hot & they had the heating on. Asked for a fan but was told he didn't know where they were. Ended up having to take my dog to a friend's house cause he was close to passing out and we brought us a fan from tescos which thankfully was just over the road from hotel

This holet is absolutely disgusting, the condition of the rooms is absolutely appalling, dirty towels, vomet stains on the floor, dirt everywhere

we have been to this hotel before to visit the black country musem and other sites round.we fund the hotel ok forthe cost of the rooms .could do with a bit of a refurb to clean it up a bitas very out dated food should be available during lunch hours and the bar should be available to residents all day and not close to them at 10.30 pm ,we found this was the case for our 2 day stop over . Patrick the bar man gave us exceptional service and did his best to supply me with what was asked off him .job well done to you patrick

The hotel was near for the venue we were visiting. The room we were given was dusty and carpet dirty the beds were clean. Asked for a change of room which they gave us a different one it was less dustier. The receptionist was a good help.

Last minute family crisis
