A Perfect Place

Ashley checked me in. She is very friendly & helpful. I would go see her for a few minutes before she finished work. We talked about Bessemer & what a wonderful town it is. She said it was a safe town and a great place to raise a family. People would come to the desk & no matter what they needed, she was efficient & took care of everyone who needed something. Mr P was there in the morning to greet everyone with a nice hot cup of coffee. He was very friendly & helpful with directions. I planned to stay one nite, but the people, the room, the pool was so enjoyable that l stayed an extra nite. The place has no negative people hanging around & they have security for all who might want to know the quality of safety. A suburb place for a family with young children, the elderly with convenient handicap parking & everyone in-between. The beds are a dream to sleep on & maid service is very efficient. I will always return to this place when l go to B'ham. It's got downhome flavor!!

Our room was clean and comfortable. Very quiet stay and the grounds were kept up well. Staff were very helpful and professional. I accidentally booked a smoking room, and went in to tell them I booked the wrong room they had no problem getting me a non-smoking room. Even my daughter liked it and she is ptretty picky.

Let's start by saying I've stayed here before so I knew what I was expecting room wise and what is advertised is the room I expected, but didn't get. The clerk was rude... The water in the pool looks nice though.

I’ll start by saying the staff were super friendly and nice. The first room wouldn’t open so they had to move us. When they did the room was dripping yellow stains on the wall, the toilet seat was peeling and falling apart, the shower was tiny and the curtain filthy. The furniture was also disgusting except the bed. The original room that wasn’t opening was above us and they decided that 11pm at night was the best time to do construction level work to fix it. We had been driving all day and just wanted to sleep so we finally fell asleep for a few hours and proceeded to wake up first thing to drive somewhere else to shower and relax. Absolutely atrocious.

Although the night staff that helped me Jason was really nice the hotel was very small it did not have a microwave or refrigerator there was a hit and run literally 30 minutes after I got to the hotel the next day the Hotel was shot up and the police was on the scene when I got home from work it's very ghetto and it's not nowhere that I would advise people to have their kids but it is cheap and if you're not afraid of everybody looking at you as if you're an alien then you're okay

"Manager" -do not respond to this with a generic reply. It's very distasteful to see you comment the same reply to every review. So skip mine while you're ahead. Booked a room as we were going through there. Got there about midnight. I have lived in conditions like this, so it was familiar, but never again. People high as hell, hooting' and hollering until 5 am, then I started reading the reviews on this place. Couldn't fall asleep because I was worried I'd have to beat a tweaker for breaking into my vehicle. The room is subpar, had a bed at least to sleep, or try to. Took a shower but didn't feel clean kind of room. No breakfast, but I don't blame them, coffee was offered. The pool looked the best out of everything surprisingly. Didn't use it as we were just headed through and just stopped for rest. Sad I didn't get to see an episode of cops here like the reviews suggest. Would have been entertaining at least.
