"This is a budget motel, so expectations should be adjusted accordingly. The room had the usual budget motel musty smell. The shower stall is small. But on the positive side, the room had a couch, a dining table, and the table settings needed to have breakfast in the room. The heater worked well, as did the available blankets."

"What can we say??!! We had THE BEST stay at Frog Hollow. John & Sarah were extremely gracious hosts, warm, welcoming as was their beautiful dog, Rosie!! The accommodation was unbelievalby comfortable & private with only the sounds & sights of the bush. We had visits from king parrots and the local bush turkey. "We had two nights at the Alpine lodge. The concierge was friendly, the room clean and spacious and the location was only a few minutes drive from the centre of Katoomba and other tourist attractions. The decor was dated and was on a noisy road (fine if the windows are closed as they are double glazed). Having bowls and plates would be a great addition as there is a toaster, fridge and microwave but no cutlery or crockery (besides tea cups and teaspoons). But overall a clean, comfortable and...
