"The grounds are stunning but the hotel itself is looking a bit tatty. We were given an accessible room, which didn’t seem that accessible to me! The plug sockets by the bed are not normal uk plugs. So you can’t plug a charger in (for me, I couldn’t plug my breathing machine in) The tv was on the wall, but had plastic covers over the wires which just looks messy. "This is a good hotel"

"The room was dirty and the furniture was very worn and tatty. I checked in at 9 pm and the hotel was clearly pretty empty. Breakfast was very small and expensive. My son went golfing in the morning, but despite this very rude front desk staff member kicked me out of my room at 11am wanting to 50 GBP to stay another couple of hours. There were silverfish bugs in the bathroom. If you are used to higher standards, avoid this hotel."

"What a beautiful place to stay. Lovely hotel and grounds, easy access into Tring and surrounding countryside. We had a superior room with garden view - lovely room, nice amount of space, lovely bed and bathroom and partial views of the garden (room 344) 2 lads behind the bar were great, they certainly were kept busy as hotel is popular.
