"Check-in was seamless, and the customer service staff were absolutely lovely, truly 10/10 service. The room was spotless and very well presented. The pool was a huge hit with the kids and kept them entertained for hours. There are plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby, with Windang Club conveniently located right behind the accommodation. Fishing spots are just down the road, which was a great bonus. It’s a fantastic place for families.. I would definitely recommend it and happily stay again."

"The room was really spacious and had obviously been beautifully renovated during the ongoing renovation work. Unfortunately for us the hotel was still very much a work in progress. I’m sure when it is completed the overall rating will be much higher. For now though I would be inclined to give it a miss. During our stay the bistro was out of commission meaning that we had to drive around Wollongong looking for somewhere to eat, easier said than done given the difficulty finding parking."

"When we arrived it took a long time before we were acknowledged at the desk, even though staff could see us. The room wasn’t ready even though we arrived 2 hours after checkin time, and we were asked to come back later. Bed wasn’t made to expected standard - only had fitted sheet and grey cover that had stains on it (we had to ask the bar for more sheets). No hot water for the first day of our stay which was particularly inconvenient because we were there to get ready for a wedding. The toilet also wouldn’t flush every now and then. "
