I asked if I could have a room overlooking the pool, and the employee responded that he didn't have anything and I am lucky to recieve the room I got. "Our stay at the Ala Moana was amazing! The food was also amazing, but would have loved a little more options. Otherwise, the food options were tasty and limitless. "The property is well located, and the staff is generally willing to help as much as they can. About a week before my stay, I received a message from the hotel informing me that they would be working on the balconies. Unfortunately, the noise made it difficult to rest, and with workers both outside and inside the balconies, there was no privacy.
