"This is a beautifully restored historic home. I can't say enough good things about the property and house and staff. We stayed in the Governor's Suite which was very nice and roomy and big roomy bathroom. I must say there are stairs. You must be able to carry your suitcases up the stairs into the house and into your room. Breakfast was very good. Good choices and good coffee. Many things here are within walking distance and felt very safe. I do suggest the trolley tour as you will see...

"The room was very clean and tastefully decorated. However, the staff at the reception were quite distant, whereas in a boutique hotel, a warmer and more welcoming attitude would be expected. As two female guests, perhaps because we stayed only one night, it felt strange to be given the room right by the entrance/office area."

"Our three night stay at The Serenity Inn was a wonderful experience in EVERY way! From the moment we arrived, our Innkeeper, Lisa, gave us a personal welcome with helpful information about the area, restaurants, activities, complete with map and directions. "Great place to stay for centralized location. Easy walking to all the tourist activities. Our room was clean and comfortable, also quite large. No elevator but it wasn't an issue. Lovely staff."

"Breakfast was good and fresh each morning. Nice touch for sure. Area is extremely walkable with restaurants nearby. The bed was really comfortable. Shower in the Lark Suite is tricky to figure out but a lot of water pressure. While we were there the hot water in the shower did not work very well. We let them know and hopefully it is fixed by now."

"I liked that it was basically a one bedroom apt. Clean, super convenient to everything. Didn’t live that window in bedroom didn’t open. Light over sink flickered consistently- so we turned it off. It was a little noisy due to location but that wa ok- I bring ear plugs. Staff was great and view from observation deck of sunset amazing !"

"This was def NOT a five star hotel or even close to!!! We ended up two days in changing rooms. No toilet paper terrible room service broken furniture , NO hot water tv phone did not work. A joke really :(. Never again"

"I think it did the job but having to pay for valet parking and staying over Memorial Day Weekend pushed it to a price point it didnt really deserve. Location is perfect and the main reason to stay there. Staff was great and facilities are pretty good. We used the gym which was small, but had everything one usually needs. Rooms themselves are tiny (bathroom especially) and that’s coming from a New Yorker. TV was very dated (not a smart TV). If the price point was lower, I’d maybe give it a...
