This is the perfect Newport location. An easy walk up the hill to Belleview and the Art Museum. Just a few minutes down the hill to Bowen's or Bannister's Wharf and Thames Street. A ten minute stroll to Broadway. Our deluxe room was a very nice suite, however, no drawers in the bedroom and the refrigerator was on the floor in bedroom closet. Both problems easily remedied with a bit of thought. The staff member at the desk when we checked in was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, other staffers were not so friendly without even a hello as we were coming and going. Beware, not elevator and no one to help getting bags upstairs. I might stay again because of the great location.

The Mill Street Inn is perfectly located within a walkable distance to downtown Newport. Would definitely stay here again, the staff was unbelievably nice and so accommodating. Complimentary continental breakfast was excellent! Everything about this hotel is amazing! You won’t be sorry you booked here!!!

Nice property in a great location. Our stay was spolied by no heat on ground floor of the duplex, sliding door to patio was broken and worst thing was finding a stained, used, bathrobe in the wardrobe. Attention to detail is needed in this property.
