Stayed in family room which was very spacious and had a large en suite. Everything was spotlessly clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very quiet despite being a pub. Good choice for breakfast which was delicious. Having real milk and bottled water in the rooms was a nice touch. In a village with nice walks and lovely seating area outside.

Lovely spacious stay at this pub for my family, loved the little touches.. fresh milk in the room, with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. Large comfy beds. Staff were very friendly, and we had dinner here too which was delicious and well priced. Only thing that let it down were the light curtains giving us an early wake up, a black out blind would be a perfect addition! Well located for Forbidden Corner and Druids Temple.

A small country pub with accommodation in a well kept village just south of Richmond N Yorks. Not a noisy pub, easy parking comfortable room, ensuite bathroom, good evening menu. Nice cooked breakfast. Friendly helpful staff.

We were shown to our room which was a good size with a large bathroom. Fresh milk available from the fridge on the landing for a cuppa. We had dinner here,very tasty chicken and salad on flatbread. Our breakfast was also lovely,freshly prepared and good quality. Cereals,juices and toast available along with a full English or other options. A comfortable bed and plenty storage space for those staying longer. A quiet village location. It's a Community owned pub so nice to contribute to it's continued success. I would recommend it for looking round this area.
