Also there is a sign in the room that if you don’t wash the dishes you will be charged per item for the washing up. I found this to be Penny pinching and mean. The hotel is not inexpensive to begin with."

My partner and I stayed for a weekend to travel to Marseille and local areas, we had a hire car so the parking availability was perfect. In the end we really appreciated the value of this stay and the quiet location where it was. The room was everything we needed for our weekend adventure, somewhere to relax...

"Location was good, about 25 mins (mainly uninspiring) walk from the historic centre. Car parking was free outside, or €5 inside. Bed comfortable, good shower. Kitchenette area was perfect if you're looking to have your own food, as we were. Staff friendly."

"It was our 1st time in Aix-en-Provence, and we didn't know what to expect regarding the city and moving around. We searched for a clean place with a kitchenette and parking facilities, so we could drive to different places. This hotel is not centric to the city, as it would take about 10-15 minutes driving by some backroads to get to the center of Aix and then finding a parking garage nearby. Rooms are kind of small. There is not an elevator, so the luggage has to be lifted through the stairs....

There were some issues with cleanliness (dirty shelves, stains on bed and toilet was not cleaned well), and some issues with what was detailed on expedia website (issues with expedia not detailing necessary information for booking). Concern re metal shutters on the windows and doors when we arrived, which was not detailed on the expedia website. Would not recommend unfortunately. However, expedia team were very helpful and had excellent communication"
