"Staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel is located in nice area. Room was clean but horrible smell in bathroom. Hotel is dated, could do with refresh but is conveniently located for our frequent meetings nearby."

"The hotel was well located to the centre of town and the main railway station. The staff were excellent and very accommodation with baggage storage and a room change we had to make. Unfortunately one of their guests on Jan 20th smoked Marijuana and the ground stairs lobby and lift stank of the smoke. Shame because of this i could only give them 3 stars."

"We stayed for two nights in a family room whilst visiting family in Preston. The Claremont was clean, warm, comfortable and great value. We were delayed due to a cancelled ferry and they very were accommodating about a late check-in. "
