"The building is relatively new, with a Japanese-inspired interior. The room had a small bathtub and a bidet, which was a nice touch. Housekeeping can be done daily or once every four days, and bed sheets are normally changed every four days, but they will change them upon request. I appreciated having this choice as a guest. "This a charming and beautiful old building. The individual rooms and common spaces are inviting, and sitting on the lanai with a view of Honolulu is wonderful! The owners provide a simple but filling breakfast and a coffee station and fridge near the sleeping quarters. All staff were welcoming and receptive to questions. If you’re looking for accommodation away from the Waikiki area, or near UH, this is a great choice. We would definitely stay here again! "

"Excellent room (16th floor Intetnational Market facing) with balcony. Spacious, good air conditioning, full size fridge freezer was convenient, comfortabe beds. An older hotel so a little dated now but very clean and very comfortable with great staff. Thank you."
