"Enjoyed our stay at the lodge. Check in was great with a friendly staff. Older place but is kept up well. Has a nice charm feel. Didn’t realize there was no air conditioning but opening up the patio door and front door cooled the room down nicely. Would stay here again."

"The Pickwick is a good motel option for the price. It is a clean, well presented building and the rooms are good with clean, functional bathrooms. The location is a positive and a negative. It is very close to Union Square so trams are very easy and convenient. This also puts it 1.5 blocks from “The Tenderloin” which appears to be a ghetto with numerous drug addicts all over the sidewalk. Do not walk north east of Market and 5th street."
