"overall we had an excellent stay. staff were excellent. Breakfast waa delicious. bed was comfortable and room was quiet. room was clean and well maintained. good location. The disappointment was the room was much smaller than picture on expedia. in making your reservation ask them about the size of the room. location is good but it is hard to get out of the parking lot due to hedges blocking view it made id difficult"

"Overall our stay was pleasant. The room and hotel itself is beautiful. Our issue came with the food. We wanted some food at about 9:15pm sent to our room and all that was available were tiny sandwiches which were not substantial. I have stayed at many 5 star hotels that offer far greater choice and variety with room service, especially when it’s at a relatively normal hour. We had high hopes for the breakfast but unfortunately was underwhelming for a whopping £30 per person I was expecting a lot more choice. The flavours and offerings for a 5 star hotel were sub par. The eggs benedict felt like it was made at a 2 star hotel. I would say that also waiting about 20 mins for each dish was far too long. It looks like the hotel is lacking a proper breakfast buffet reminiscent of what you would expect at a luxury hotel. It’s safe to say although the hotel is beautiful I will not be staying again although the spa and massages we had were lovely."

"Basic and easy for last minute stay as our train back to London was too late. Very basic but clean. Warning that windows don’t open. We paid “extra for window” that doesn’t even open. "

"We had a wonderful stay in this hotel. The only slight annoyance was that we couldn’t get the air conditioning to work, so had to sleep with the window open, which meant that the gulls woke us up quite early in the morning. We were celebrating our birthdays and the hotel gave us a lovely plate of cakes to honor this! We skipped paying for breakfast because there are so many wonderful bakeries in Bath and the breakfast was on the pricey side. I still wouldn’t hesitate staying here again! "
