"Lovely surroundings. If anything else is important to you, think twice. There is no staffed reception. I got my notification about check-in at 19:55, after hotels.com had worked for an hour and a half first to get through to the place (unsuccessfully), then to find me somewhere else to stay. "Beautiful large property and grounds. Definitely surprised to find out that it’s only accessible by ferry! No cars on the island. A beautiful shuttle drive from the ferry landing to the hotel. There is no peaceful view of the water from the hotel, as pictured. In it’s prime it was quite the destination."

"Great breakfast, comfortable double bed. A la carte Restaurant was booked for a wedding so no outside space as that was reserved for guests. Other Restaurant was buffet only as a consequence but had to pay for 3 courses at NK525 even if only wanted one course so ate in the cafe which was really nice and reasonably priced"
