"Stayed for 3 nights in the top floor room with the spiral staircase. You enter the room and there are 2 chairs to enjoy sitting with the balcony open. "Beautiful hotel with wonderful staff. We arrived late on Monday evening and were able to get a seat at the rooftop bar to have a light dinner and drinks. The entrance to the hotel is dramatic, like something you'd see in an art gallery. The rooms are clean, smart and stylish, with great bathroom amenities and soundproofing. Beds were firm, which not everyone might enjoy, but we had comfortable and quiet nights' sleep. Would definitely return the next time I'm in Bordeaux."

"The hotel ideally situated for the centre of Bordeaux, a few metres from the Quinconces. Transport connections first class, and an easy ride to the airport.The staff helpful, the room very comfortable, quite and cool, less of a problem when we stayed, but in July would have been an issue. Breakfast was good, and prepared us for the boat trip...! The Tourist office literally over the road. Normandie surpassed our expectations, and we will certainly return!"
