"Quite quirky but charming. Very helpful staff. Central but not in a noisy area of town. Some rooms have only a frosted glass screen between bedroom and bathroom, which I guess some guests might find a little too intimate. The shared kitchen is available to use, except at breakfast, so you can make drinks etc. The big fridge for drinks etc was awaiting repair - hopefully fixed by now."

"We loved the restoration of the old existing structure alongside the stunning extension to the rear. From entering the hotel there is a true welcoming check in. The decor is exquisite and provides a serene ambience. Staff are very helpful and respectful to all our requests. "Lovely hotel - we spent 5 nights there as a family of 4 to celebrate my wife’s 50th. Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They gave her a personal card and made her a birthday cake and the whole staff inc the management came to our table to wish her well - it was a lovely moment. "This was a lovely hotel where all of your needs are catered for. The room was lovely, with a balcony view along the beautiful, long, sandy beach, which was breath taking. Staff around the hotel couldn’t have done more for you. I know it isn’t for everyone, but all major football league matches were available in the bar, including the premier league. The beach was right in your doorstep, with lovely bars and restaurants dotted along. "

"There is no beach view nor beach nearby. There is shore and marina that in walkable distance. The location is perfect for us, 5 mnts to city center, safe and quiet. Property is well renovated and clean, common kitchen is an excellent amenities to have. Will definitely recommend to others and back again if go to Faro next time. "
