From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we were greeted by a lovely gentleman who checked us in. He provided us with local information about restaurants and made some wonderful recommendations. All of the staff at reception and housekeeping made sure we were comfortable and well looked after. The hotel has a relaxing rooftop area although we didn't use the pool due to weather conditions. The rooms and bathrooms are cosy and well kept.

Modern hotel, lovely low-key decor, top-notch service. Great views from the roof-top bar. Walking distance to the promenade, shops, and restaurants, but not so close that it gets noisy. The breakfast buffet was totally worth it. Don't miss the gigantic dollar store next door.

First time visitor but everything was great. Staff all very helpful. Rooms were clean and had all we needed. We used the roof top bar and pool area alot which was also first rate. Only improvement I could see is outside of breakfast the hotel does not provide any food - some kind of small lunch or bar snacks menu would elevate the hotel even more. Would definitely come back

Fantastic hotel - amazing rooms and so well laid out - loved the roof top terrace and pool and it’s in a lovely location too! All the staff were fantastic and helpful- especially Tiago in the bar - definitely recommend this hotel and lovely Olhão and will return for sure hopefully.

A fantastic and spotlessly clean hotel. We stayed here for a week at the start of March. Unfortunately the weather wasn't the best, which meant the rooftop bar and pool area was closed for the first couple of days. Despite the weather, Olhao is a lovely little town with enough bars and restaurants all within walking distance of the hotel. We hired a car to explore the area and towards the Spanish border, and we were always able to find a free parking space in the surrounding streets around the hotel. The hotel breakfast was one of the best breakfast's I've had at any hotel, regarding choice and quality. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, but a special mention to Tania and Manuel, any hotel would be proud to have them as staff. We wouldn't hesitate to book the Pure Formosa Concept Hotel again if returning to Olhao.
