Well, what’s not to love is a noisy AC unit that wakes you up from a dead sleep when it turns back on in the middle of the night. That, and the lights were kept on outside the room all night which the curtains do not block out entirely. One final note - there were lots of noisy car races throughout the night, which, if the AC unit had the ability to stay running without going into energy-saving...

"My wife and I stayed at Blue Creek Inn just recently as a last moment need due to a family event in New Jersey where we don’t currently live. There was some good and some bad. Firstly, the good. "There was no staff that I saw, but none was really necessary. The room door code was texted to me and worked fine. The bed was made and everything I needed worked. Conveniently located 5 minutes from Ft. Dix, and several major chain fast food restaurants within 10 minutes drive from the property."

"While the place does have the bare minimum a motel should have for a stay, the rooms are filthy, the owner installed cameras at every door (which made for a lack of privacy), the sink and shower had broken valves, and the reception office was incredibly hot."

"Room was very clean, staff was great, beach is right there, parking was tight but very well coordinated. We had a bad storm the one night and lost power but within 10 mins they had power back up and running. Only downfall was the squeaky floor from the room above us. Otherwise great place!!!"

"Do not book this motel. Our window was broken for the duration of the trip, which was addressed at arrival. We were told maintenance would come to fix it, but no one ever showed up. Someone ended up climbing in through our window at 7am, which is when we discovered the window didn’t even lock. Police were called and they talked to the staff about getting someone to come and fix the window. Our window was broken for our entire weekend trip. This situation actually took up most of our 4th of July....
