The staff was amazing & the breakfast was a normal hotel breakfast. The room met expectations for the price. They had the pull up car port blacked off for some reason so we had to carry all of our bags to the parking lot in freezing temperatures instead of pulling the car up to the front and unpacking which made for a hard time. The cleaning crew were very accommodating for things that we needed during the stay but overall I think the place could have been more clean. The floors were dirty, the sheets had stains on them, the bathroom smelled like stale cigarettes & you can just tell that things havnt been wiped down and cleaned properly. The top of the ice bucket was filthy. The room did have one of the best refrigerators I’ve ever had in a hotel. It kept our drinks very cold & the lady at the front desk was very nice & accommodating when the temperature dropped to single digits she brought us some extra blankets & made sure the thermostat was working properly. I think some mopping & upholstery cleaning in the main lobby & some carpet scrubbing & proper cleaning would really set this hotel to the next level. I’m a very clean person & it wasn’t bad enough that I felt I could stay there but I wished that I could have trained the cleaning staff bexusee this place has so much potential for the price. We were there for a retirement ceremony on base and it was the best option we had that was close by.
