"The host was very pleasant and quite thorough in explaining on the nuances of the property. Other guests were quiet although I was only there the one night while visiting family. The room and other amenities were clean. There are pretty gardens throughout the property as well. Note that there is only the bottom sheet and comforter on the bed and no top sheet, in addition although there are california shutters on the lower part of the window, but the 5 am sun lights the room up in the morning...

"Really nice place to stay. We stayed here impromptu during a road trip through BC. We're more than happy we picked here to visit The place was extremely quiet and very nice, plus we had almost free reign to get a sea view and watch the Canada day fireworks The hosts were super accomodating and looked after us well And the incded breakfast was excellent. Thanks again and a wonderful stay."

"Room was clean, a few stains on pillowcases that should be replaced, some chips and marks in the shower/tub that could be patched up, room was sufficient for our needs, the staff was lovely the breakfast was ok, a fair bit of options, pool was little but kids still liked it. Some maintenance would go a long way in improving the look of the place, but it was clean and the beds are comfortable."

"Angela was wonderful, she met us upon arrival and helped us to settle. Prior to arriving she was great, and quick with communication via text. I was thinking the hotel would be kitschy and dated but it was absolutely not! It was a great balance of historic and modern, very clean, not dated, adorable little storybook/fairytale theme. We stayed in the little red riding hood room and it was quaint and cozy, the bed was beyond my expectations. The shared space was very well decorated,...

"The rooms were disgusting. I had hair on my sheets. A bug squashed on the wall. The bed was lumpy. The cabinets old looking. Toilet paper holder was rusty and put on wall with any old screw. To top it off it cost over $150.00 a night"

"Unfortunately our circumstances had changed - had to fly home. Tried to cancel the booking, giving more than two weeks notice. Receptionist could not speak very good English and hung up on me twice. Was unable to speak to the manager. Refused to reimburse me for my booking. DO NOT BOOK HERE - once you book you will not get your money back if you cancel."

"Love this place - check in took 2 seconds compared to 1/2 hr. at other hotels. Straight to my room and everything was clean, comfy, good wifi and tv. No coffee maker but a microwave and pop machine with snacks. Yes hallway carpets stained but not a Plus pets are FREE. Thank you for the no frills no b.s. check in. I'll be back!"

"We stayed at this hotel on June 29, 2026, and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and the room was comfortable. The staff were friendly and made check-in and check-out easy. We also really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. There was a good variety of options, and everything was fresh and well stocked. It was a great way to start the day. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily stay here again. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others."
