Hotels near Barefoot Resort - Love Golf Course

"Not super nice inside or out. Poolside bar dreadfully slow. Was told pool was heated which is why we went, NOT heated."

"PROS: Great location, steps to the pool and beach, beach was really clean and wasn’t crowded at all when we were there, lazy river was nice perk, small but fun, plenty of lounge chairs around pool, breakfast was decent, good variety. Beds were comfortable (sheets were awful). Shower pressure was amazing! And plenty of hot water. CONS: Outdated rooms, rug was disgustingly dirty and stained —needed to be torn out and replaced with the nice flooring that was in kitchen area When we got there our carpet had not been vacuumed, front desk said they would make a note to have it done next day and it never happened. When we complained about the room, the evening clerk ( who was very helpful) offered us a different one. We looked at it and it was in a similar state minus the huge stain. So we stayed put. Parking is tight and very limited. We were able to find a spot all three nights but during busy times, I’m sure you won’t. All that being said, the price was a bargain for beachfront. We had a balcony overlooking the water, with a kitchenette, two queens, a pull down extra queen and a couch. If you aren’t looking for luxury but want beachfront, this place is good. With a bit of updating and some upkeep, it could be awesome."

"The resort is beautiful! I loved being right on the beach, and all the pools being heated was a huge plus. Unfortunately, the check-in process was extremely frustrating, especially considering the cost of the stay. Early check-in isn’t allowed before 4 PM, and even after arriving early and waiting for hours, our two-bedroom villa still wasn’t ready. That really took away from the day."

"You'll be aware that when you make the reservations that you going to be charged over $140 if you stay for two nights that was not disclosed to us when we checked in. We were told that they would hold temporarily $200 for incidentals and for parking. When we ask how much is the parking daily that was not provided to us. Once we checked out we was told that the hold would be released as long as there was no incidentals in the room. 2 days later the $140 post to the account there is still an outstanding charge of $40 that's pending. This is my concern your parking should be a flat rate and that should be disclosed to each person that comes in when they check in so we know the exact amount per day how much is parking along with your resort fees that should be a flat rate as well that amount should also be disclosed per day how much you're being charged to give that person an estimate of how much their card will be charged for those two things. I feel like that information was misleading because "

"The suite I stayed in had mold everywhere. I had to call because the shower curtain was very dirty and smelled of mildew and sour. The people who came in to replace things were friendly. The suite definitely had water damage, which is where the mold came from. Other then that other areas were very clean and i would return I will just check my suite first. "
