Customers have no value here.
Not everything is bad but they have an attitude problem at times. The kitchen is under equipped (no stove) and it sounds like a hell of a demand to get a decent size plate or a knine to cut food. They told me they could not provide because it's in the washing machine, so they say because, I didn't see a knife the previous day either.

Hello, thank you for leaving us a review, though we are sorry if you had any inconveniences. We do our best to provide a good experience and give assistance. You may have missed it, there is a specific area where you can find all the plates, glasses, knives, fork and ustensile necessary to eat. We provide soap and sponge and ask our guest to kindly clean their dishes, even though we also provide a wahing machine. We do not have a stove but we have a grill, microwave, fridge and hot water available at any time. We'll keep on working to improve our facilities. Thank you for staying with us. Regards

The location right next to the beach is very pretty. Although it is a bit of a hike to the city center. My room was clean and staff was nice. The property is a bit run down and noise carries very well. I could easily here people coming in from a night out or getting up for an early start all throughout the night.

The hostel is located at the beach and only this is advantadge. The rooms are not isolated at all. This is a big space shared in parts like in office ( without windows). They dont have normal kitchen and common area as well. You can use fridge and microwave and go to the beach bar for eating.

You can also use the big area that is used as a restaurant during the day, and it is reserved as a guest's common area without restaurant opening in the morning and at night until midnight. The place and staff were excellent and friendly It's just in front of barceloneta beach The only offending matter for me was the location because it's little bit far away from metro station and la rambala street so I had to walk long distance with my luggage

Fantastically located property; right on the beach with a close vicinity to safe and secure pubs and shops - if British try the ‘FastNet’ Irish bar. Not a more friendly, helpful and accommodating bunch around. Any Irish bar for a Brit is perfect. This hostel was amazing with the 24/7 service - breakfast is not included although stated otherwise, but what is €3.50 for a good meal for the day. If language barriers between guests isn’t an issue, among etiquette differences, please stay here. Although, you will get annoyed at late night club era that don’t understand sleep schedules, the actual location and service is amazing!

Lovely staff and area
Beautiful area to stay right on the beach front. Lovely staff who always made the effort to say hello when they saw you. Didn't appreciate having a couple getting amorous in a dorm next to mine. So not having sound proofed rooms was the only downside. But I love staying in Safestay Hostels especially when I go abroad. Am looking at Madrid as my next little adventure.

Terrible place. I did not even try to check in after checking out the horrible condition of facilities and very hostile staff at the reception and rather gave up my money and looked for other place to stay

Good location, good place, the only bad thing was the noise people but this have nothing to do with the hostel, all the staffs are friendly, nothing to complain really.

It was nice to be right infront of the beach,
Michaela and her stuff where amassing, everything was great except that the bathrooms didn't get clean and refresh daily , but I enjoyed that also was close to everything, it was a hub for all my activities, cheers

Amazing Location. Pity about everything else.
Room was nothing like what it looked like in the pictures. My bed was on the roof of the bathroom, essentially. Others in my room had the same complaints. No information about where things are, what the services are. No lockers in the room what so ever, some in the hallway but again, nothing explained on check in. Location is 11/10, on the beach, can’t get any closer to the water than that. That is about all it has going for it.

Great location, shame about the rest
Staff were very unhelpful during my stay, the woman who checked me in was lovely but did not answer my questions very well, everyone else was miserable the whole time. The common area is very strange and is not conducive to meeting people, the rooms were (very) noisy as there is no separating ceiling between the dorms so everything in other rooms can be heard (including a man retching for several hours, and a party of schoolkids that would not be quiet all through the night). Do yourself a favour and go a little more expensive if I were you.

A nightmare
Receptionist: rude obnoxious and unhelpful Kitchen: consists of a kettle and pizza oven (can’t even cook eggs) Cleanliness: dirty used bed linen, floor bathroom smelt of vomit Elevator: occupied by cleaning lady when i arrived had to carry bags up stairs Internet: extremely slow and doesn’t work inside room

Only thing going for it is the beach! Not safe
Upon check in the bed number I was given had a very drunk guy in it with all the pillows from he room to himself which smelled nasty. Reception was very unhelpful and only said that he forgot to tell me about someone being in my bed. After contacting Expedia they moved us to a smaller room with lockers and I found someone in that bed too but as there were two spear beds we stayed. The first night the night receptionist burst into the room at 1am ( every body was sleeping,) demanding to see booking and was saying he would be kicking people out as the day guy made mistakes. We found somewhere safer and better for our last night and upon check out nothing was asked as why we didn't want to stay, not even a goodbye was offered by the staff. Very rude people. They only thing about this place is the location. Other then that I wouldn't call it safe as I felt very unsafe the whole time.

가성비 좋고, 바르셀로네타 해변이 바로 옆
놀랄만치 저렴했음에도, 대체로 깨끗하고 퀘퀘한 냄새 없이 잘 관리되고 있었음. 바로 문 앞이 바르셀로네타 해변임. 문만 열고 나가면 파도소리 들으며 해안 산책할 수 있음. 몇 분만 걸으면 요트들이 줄지어 떠 있는걸 볼 수 있음. 바르셀로네타 해변에 있다는게 장점이지만, 동시에 시내에서 좀 떨어져 있다는 애기이기도 함. 그라시아 대로나 람블라스 거리에서는 꽤 떨어져 있음.

For budget traveller who loves beach
The staff was really nice and helpful and the location is awesome. I didn´t know I had to bring my own lock for closet, but luckily I was able to buy one from a store close by. The hostel is right next to the beach which was really nice. Bed was good.

A éviter à tout pris sur le point humain !
Personnel très impoli, irrespectueux et avec une façon de parler presque insultante ! Niveau propreté pas grand chose a redire mais le wifi ne fonctionnait pas, pas de serviettes a disposiyion et les draps non faits... Je conseille vivement d'éviter cette adresse meme s'il faut trouver une adresse plus éloignée de quelconque centre d'interet proche de cet hotel !

Bonjour, Nous sommes désolé si vous avez mal vécu votre séjour parmi nous. Votre commentaire nous surprend car nous sommes tous très impliqués pour répondre aux mieux à nos invités. Le wifi fonctionne très bien dorénavant et nous n'offrons pas de serviette incluse car nous proposons des prix très attractifs tout en étant l'unique auberge située juste en face de la plage. Nous en proposons en revanche en location pour les personnes qui en auraient besoin. Les lits sont faits systématiquement et s'il y a quelconque soucis nous sommes là 24h/24 pour répondre et assister. Nous vous remercions malgré tout d'avoir séjourné au sein de notre auberge et prenons en compte toute remarque. Cordialement

ドミトリーを使い慣れてる人ならば、清潔感があり、設備的にも満足がいくと思います。市内の街を散策するにはバスなどを利用するのが良く、少し不便な位置かも知れませんが、この安さで目の前に綺麗な海があるのは最高です。同じ建物にスーパーもあり、オーブンやレンジがホテル内で使えるので、遅くに到着した際などはとても有効的です。

Excellent location!!!
The location is super good and the stuff very kind. The only désavantage is that it was quite noisy because there is no insulation between the rooms.

Ich war 4 nächte dort und hatte ein 4 betten zimmer. alles war sehr hellhörig. Man hat die Nachbarn gehört, als wären sie gerade neben dir manchmal auch dass was unten abging, das war sehr mühsam als zB meine tollen nachbern mitten in der nacht in voller Lautstärke Musik gehört haben.. Die tür von unserem Zimmer ging nie richtig auf, so dass wir zum teil die tür wie Rambo öffnen mussten. das w-lan funktioniere im zimmer nicht aber vor dem hostel hat es freies wlan. Fenster hat es auch keine. für 1-2 nächte ok- aber für mich ist es nächstesmal ein anderes. Ist ehner was für leute, die party machen wollen& nicht für solche, die entspannt ferien machen wollen :)

No es terrible, pero creo que no volvería
El hostal no está mal y no voy a pedirle lo mismo que a un hotel, porque no lo es, pero la habitación no estaba en condiciones. Los colchones de las camas superiores de la litera destrozados por debajo, las sábanas sucias y matamos 2 cucarachas dentro de la habitación en una estancia de una noche. No es terrible, pero no creo que volvería. Eso sí, a pie de playa en la Barceloneta.

Discreto, ottimo solo come "appoggio"
Una esperienza tutto sommato discreta, posizione veramente ottima, ti butti in spiaggia direttamente dalla porta d'ingresso, staff molto disponibile e gentile, bagni sufficientemente grandi, stanze climatizzate molto bene, e armadietti grandi, e nelle immediate vicinanze, con un po' di fortuna e pazienza, si trova il parcheggio gratuito per l'auto (nel caso si fosse automuniti). Però la pulizia in generale non era il massimo, non c'era la possibilità di spegnersi le luci da soli, stavo in una stanza al perimetro della struttura e sentivo tutto il casino e il traffico, ma soprattutto, il wifi non funzionava, nonostante mi sia collegato a diverse reti appartenenti alla struttura.
