This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. Some of their staff are rude and unwelcoming, they charge like a hotel but don’t clean your room (was there 9 days). I knew there was a shared bathroom but during the second weekend they closed two bathrooms for private rooms and left only ONE shower and ONE toilet for 10 rooms. It is extremely bad, not even that close to gothic quarter to even make it worth.

Disgusting and misrepresentation
Disgusting dirty. Pictures on website do not in any way reflect the property. Completely misrepresents the room we werr given. Even at this low price it was a complete rip off. We asked for a double bed instead we got two single beds. Definitely, this is not a place that i will recommend to others. No lamps. No night tables. Filthy single curtain. Stank. Cramped.

The room was nothing that I've booked and paid for. We were supposed to have a double bed 1 (sofa) a/c, fridge, and spacious room but when got to the place the room was at best small double. There was no A/C in the room or other amenities listed. When we complained the staff were quite hostile and were trying to convinced us it's the room we paid for. I had to actually show them the itenerary with pictures and details. We decided to stay as looking for something last minute would have been not easy and not cheap. Wish we didn't. It was so hot and stuffy and the toilet clogged the first night. Would not recommend at all.

It was confidently located in Barcelona but it was loud, and the last morning I was there - the toilet was desecrated with vomit.

AVOID AVOID AVOID
Shared, disgusting bathroom with a door that was difficult to open and close. Our room was right next to the bathroom, so throughout the night, we could hear people doing their business and struggling with the door. One dinky ceiling fan, super hot room. Couldn't keep the window open because someone was playing loud music even after midnight. Extra 10euros for night check-in, and reception was a teenager who barely knew what he was doing. We asked for a receipt of payment and he had to call someone to figure out how to do this. Not his fault, but just evidence of how this place skimps on everything. We paid hotel prices for this room, we expected a minimum level of quality. AVOID if you can.

We were on the top floor. Four bedrooms with shared toilet and kitchenette. Cold water dispenser. Huge balconies on either side with nice views.

Spartan rooms. It had a ceiling and floor fan, which was nice during the strong heat wave we experienced during our stay. However, the windows opened onto a loud street, so we had to choose between too loud or too hot. Staff was helpful.

My room wasn't clean upon arrival so they made me wait a half hour while checking in. Room does not have fan/air conditioning so was incredibly hot and uncomfortable. Wifi does not reach the room. Staff was wonderful thiugh

Worst service ever, over 60 countries i have visit
I did book it a couple of days in advance. In the middle of the night they send a message on the hotels.com chat that told me that they are full and looking for another hotel. Never asked me if it was ok. Then around 3pm on check-in day they day that they have booked me on a new hotel. Still on the chat, no email. My plane got delayed so I called them, to tell them that we was late and will come around 8pm instead of 6pm. And that was ok. But then we called again for the plane was more delayed, and we will come around midnight. They told me they have cancel it and it is our problem. My girlfriend is pregnant so this was not what we wanted to hear. And they wanted to keep the money when they cancel it. And thought we should sleep on the street, for no rooms are free at their place. That is when i checked the chat. And the new place sad on the website, not in the chat, they had only reception hours until 6pm. And it looked like a yoga place far away from the area we booked. I have stayed in hotel in over 60 countries, this is the worst service ever. Never again.

There are liars, a little liars and very liars. Nathanael is among the latter. This man called to cancel the reservation because he requested the flight. And all the rest is a fabrication except that we denied him being able to recover money from a reserve that he had consumed. What a pity to organize your trip so badly or to have such bad luck, but it is not noble to blame the hotel, do you think?

Overall is the good idea with sharing facilities as kitchen but there is not sufficient kitchen supplies, furniture and small refrigerator for the whole floor with 8 rooms.

Good bang for the buck!
The place is pretty good for the money asked. The staff tries their best to help and they have done so on multiple requests. Only problem is that it seems like the quality of the rooms is random, eg. some rooms have nice windows with shutters, others only have curtains. Some rooms have A/C, some don't. We had to change rooms a couple of times because of this.

El trato fue perfecto, están dispuestos a escuchar y solucionar cualquier problema que pueda surgir. En cuanto al espacio, es amplio y tiene muchas zonas comunes, como un gimnasio y una zona de ocio. En nuestro caso, lo único negativo es que nuestra habitación carecía de algún sistema de ventilación, algo importante principalmente porque la que nos tocó no tenía ventana. La estancia fue muy tranquila y no hubo problemas de ningún tipo. Lo recomiendo ya que además, se encuentra en una zona de Barcelona casi inigualable, muy cerca de varias líneas de metro y de sitios icónicos como la Sagrada Familia.

Hice mi reserva para mis días en Barcelona con meses de antelacion y organizamos todo según esta reserva confirmada por expedia y el hotel. Cuando llegamos al Hotel Residencia Universitaria Augusta, nos dicen que tienen overbooking y nos trasladan a otro lugar (Casa de Espiritualidad San Felipe Neri) un lugar oscuro como un convento, lejos de esta nuestra reserva original que cambia todos nuestros planes de transporte. (imposible ir andando a cualquier sitio desde allí) y eso supone más gastos para nosotros. Quiero una respuesta y una compensación por estos cambios que significan muchos problemas para nosotros...

Le 1er jour, nous avions accès à 3 salle de bains pour 20 chambres. Le 2eme jour, ils ont mis un cadenas sur une salle de bain, qui est devenu privatif. Et le 3eme jour, ils ont privatisé une autre salle de bain. On s'est retrouvé avec un toilette -douche pour 18 chambres.

La habitación estaba escasamente amueblada, le faltaba una lámpara en la mesilla de noche, la cama era demasiado grande para el tamaño de la habitación, las sabanas no eran de la medida de la cama, no olía adecuadamente, y la cisterna del baño perdía agua con ruido molesto toda la noche. En positivo, el precio, la ubicación y el baño que están bien y el personal que me atendió fue muy amable en todo momento.

Total chaos at check in, asking if it is possible to check out early they said "yes no problem". At check out they said we have to pay now because it is too early. So be careful there are extra costs and the staff there is very chaotic and unfriendly when you ask for their help. If they dont want to talk to you anymore the will just starting to talk in Spanish that you cant understand.

Camera "deluxe" senza un comodino anche se lo spazio c'era e senza un appendino in bagno. Per colazione lo stesso prosciutto cotto e lo stesso formaggio riproposti per quattro mattine di seguito!!
