Best 5 star hotel in Barcelona

The Cotton House was the perfect stay for our first time in Barcelona. We fell in love with the neighborhood around Cotton House as well as the staff there, shout out to Fatima and Federico! The room was beautiful with gorgeous views of the city and they made sure that my family was comfortable and attended to at every turn. Every time we visit Barcelona, we will be staying at the Cotton House.

Beautiful hotel in a great location for adventure

It's a beautiful hotel in a great location that is easily accessible to main attractions either by walking or the train. Our room was very nice and spacious. The hotel bar was also so beautiful. Highly recommend for a stay in Barcelona. Also the concierge was incredibly helpful in making dinner reservations in advance of our stay.

Beautiful Boutique hotel

Stayed here before. Its part of Marriot Bonvoy so we used points to get the beautiful buffet breakfast. Though it is VERY hard to get HOT coffee...always luke warm. The breakfast is awesome though. The hotel is gorgeous. and good location.

I loved the cotton house hotel, I recommend it and would stay there again. The staff were very friendly and the concierge was fantastic. The terrace / bar / restaurant area were all amazing. The room has everything you need, I think maybe the only thing is that the place needs a bit of an update, and in my opinion the lobby area could be a bit bigger. But again, it was a great stay and loved all the history and themes of the design!

Excellent boutique hotel, stunning interiors throughout. Love the library bar and restaurant. The history of the building has been exquisitely maintained. Room was typical size for European Hotel rooms, but huge bathroom and king size bed, with fantastic sheet/duvet, it will be our go to hotel when visiting Barcelona. Don’t miss the outdoor Terrance dinning. Beautiful!

A Barcelona Gem

Fabulous hotel in a very convenient location. Beautifully decorated lobby area. Rooms are quiet and beds are very comfortable. Lovely outside area for dining and drinks . The bath/shower is a wet room. Care is needed there as the floor area can be slippery.

Quiet oasis in a bustling city

Terrific hotel in a great location. Superb boutique with charm and style in the best part of Barcelona. Rooms are not huge but very well designed and maintained. Mine was on a high floor with very little noise despite leaving windows open day and night. Classy common spaces with a library, bar and restaurant including a secluded outdoor courtyard. Small pool on the roof, as well. Could not recommend more highly and would stay again on a return to BCN.

Not sure what might have happened in one years time but house keeping is certainly an issue. Staff at times seemed indifferent and last but not least the room we had is in need of new furniture. Tables, desk severely scratched, sofa bed needs to be replaced. But, for me the best was who ever the genius was that a good idea to put the bathroom door right in front of the toilet and lets not forget the door stop in front of the toilet so for those os us that need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night good luck with your toes🙈

We stayed at the Cotton House Hotel for one week while visiting our son in Barcelona and couldn’t have been happier with the service and the property. From the moment we got there we felt welcomed and everyone from the doormen, reception staff, room cleaning staff, concierge team, and expert bar staff provided us with the highest level of service (especially our new friend, Alejandro). The property was very clean and well maintained. We highly recommend the Cotton House hotel to anyone traveling to Barcelona. 5 stars*****
