We like the Spanish feel of the property. It was situated very close to La Rambla in downtown Barcelona. So walking about was very easy. It was also really close to the waterfront where we could run every morning and enjoy the fantastic view. The only thing was trying to catch a cab.

Fantastic location fully functional flat we had included two double bedrooms but no sitting area other than the kitchen table. The location made up for any shortfalls and I would highly recommend a brief stay here

Excellent property next to las Ramblas , perfect location in the middle of all the action . Spacious apartment with updated kitchen and excellent rooms . Only 2 drawbacks, no elevator and apartment has no A/C , but they do provide fans for every room . Would definitely recommend this apartment, loved our stay.

Fantastic location and spacious apartment for a family of 4. Beds very comfortable and yes its very noisy but what to do you expect in the centre of a large city. Wear earplugs ull be fine. Would definitely recommend to others and stay again.

The apartment is located in a prime location one block far from Las Ramblas. My host Sol was so nice and replied to me immediately to all my questions . The suite was very roomy and comfortable. There is no staff onsite, but instructions were very clear.

The description of the building didn’t state that there wasn’t an elevator. Guest need to carry all luggage up steep, narrow, winding stairs. The building doesn’t enforce quite hours and can get get quite loud for hours of the night. The building also had cockroaches and other bugs around. It is very centrally located next to a stop for the hop on and off bus which makes it easy to get around the city and by an absolutely delicious bakery!

We stayed at appartments guarida i feb 2025. We were in a "two bedroom appartment" The apparment could sleep 5 people. One room with double bed and bunk bed and another room with kitchen, diningtable and a sofa where 1 person could sleep. So be aware that there are four beds in one room. When it was called "two bed room appartment" we were a little dissapointed with this. We dont think this was written clearly in the announcement. Apart from this the appartment is really nice. Own balcony to the street. superb location close to the market, rambla and gothic area. There is a small supermarket just across the street and a bakery. There storeage lockers, so you can store your luggage. The check in procedure went really smooth. On the day we recieved an email with code to front door and to apparment door. Very easy and worked perfectly.

Rustic but beautiful

We had to contact the apartment on arrival as we hadn’t received the check in information. We were eventually given everything we needed though. You are given a code for the front door and a code for your apartment. We guessed the check in procedures were an issue for others also as on our first night we were awaken at around 2am to some new arrivals trying to get into our room!! Yes the apartments are rustic and not perfect but we thought that added to its charm. Downside is that it’s so noisey! Not great for light sleepers. There is always some noise coming from the streets below whether that’s late night revellers or street cleaners. Apart from that it’s a great apartment in a great location perfect for exploring Barcelona.

Checkin - completed the online check and advised that we would receive a code to enter the premises and finish check in at electronic kiosk. Never received a code or any correspondence from them contacted them on the way to the venue at 6pm - the male who answered spoke no English (expect this as in Spain) was told ring back in an hour - attempted this 3 times - was answered then when I spoke was put onto a answering machine in Spanish? Eventually after another hour (2 in total) received a WhatsApp text - eventually receiving all the information required. Completely understand that in Spain they will speak Spanish - but if you’re going to advertise internationally you must have a way to communicate with people who do use the apartments and not just ignore them. That is my only issue - the actual apartment was fantastic, close to everything! Clean and well presented. Metro is only 5 min walk along with the markets and a number of great restaurant's, small market (shop) directly across the front door as well. Very well located.
