"The hotel itself is excellent - great location and architecture. The cool atmosphere and aircon were welcoming on the hottest June day ever recorded in Cardiff! The facilities were great - including bedroom, bar and pool / spa. A couple of disappointments though. Guaranteed check-in from 3p.m. We arrived at 2.15 so went to the bar to wait. By 3.30 still no room, so after a lot of to-ing and fro-ing they eventually found us an upgrade. The breakfast - distinctly average for the price and...

He went above and beyond and we were very grateful as it was our first visit to Cardiff. We had a deluxe room which was very comfortable, executive lounge was an added bonus. "Rooms were clean, well appointed and were massive. The wardrobe being situated in the bathroom is a little odd. The parking is charged at £13 per night so quite pricey. Breakfast good, bar area nice. Staff very friendly and helpful."

"Nice hotel stayed here previously and it was great , so booked to return for a special occasion with friends, contacted the hotel prior to visit to ask fir rooms on the same floor preferably near to each as we were celebrating 2 special birthdays Unfortunately this was a complete waste of time as when we arrived we were one on the first floor and the other on 4 th So disappointed they supposedly upgraded us but to floors 3 and 4 still not together such a a disappointing experience "

She was a credit to the hotel, worked hard and clearly cared about the guest experience.
