"Stayed here for one night and thought this was a unique place to stay. It is full of interesting art and antiques. There are many sections of the restaurant which are all different and worth sering. The food is really great and service is too. The room we had was very comfortable especially the bed. This is a place that does not have elevators, television or multiple electrical outlets for devices. It is a place you don't need these things. It is meant to be a getaway and place to be...

"Loved this hotel! Great location across from the Gallery Place metro station, tasty cafe, and AMAZING bar downstairs. The room was small but cozy and the bed, bedding, and pillows were all SO comfortable. This was the perfect home base for a weekend of sightseeing. "

"For us the property was perfect. The kitchen had a coffee maker, toaster, electric water kettle, silverware, plates, cups, and glasses. We did use a glass casserole dish to bake some pastries for breakfast. I didn't see any cookie sheets or pans for stove top cooking but that was fine for us as we were there five days and didn't plan to do much cooking other than breakfast or heating up leftovers in the microwave. The property was close to the White House and a couple blocks from the Metro...

"Services were exceptional, room and amenities were great. PARKING Can be an issue. Valet not available after midnight. No ice in room. Loved light. Minutes away from metro, and most sights but traffic can be awful at pick times "

"Modern Room w/ a nice balcony view and close to the metro and many restaurants in the area. The staff is friendly and accommodating with any request you may have. I will be sure to stay here again next time I visit DC again."
