Terrible experience… horrible customer service. DO NOT STAY HERE!! We had no hot water for the first two nights. They tried to get it fixed but they couldn’t. The showers had mold everywhere in them. They eventually moved us to another room that had no air conditioning, dirty sheets, and ants in the bed. We eventually just checked out early to stay in another hotel because it was not anything like stated on the website. With their no refund we still had to pay for the nights we did not stay because we refused to spend another night in their crappy hotel and be moved multiple times. It was our honeymoon and we were not going to spend it moving around. Since all of this happened we have tried to work with Expedia to see how they are willing to make this right and Expedia has not made this right and is not willing to give us refund. They said that although they have tried reaching the hotel there is nothing they can do. This will be the last time we book with Expedia as clearly the do not care about the customer. Very sad experience.

The hotel was nice and the view from the executive room was incredible. The area is not central to a lot of dining or sightseeing options, but very close to a BTS station. Also, the fixtures in the hotel are a bit dated. I did notice that the hotel is trying to make prices for breakfast and the bar on the 38th floor more competitive. Overall, I would recommend to travelers looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay.

Could have been wonderful but…..
Could have been wonderful but….. our stay was let down by little details. Good, helpful staff, excellent location sensible price, well appointed hotel. We got the feeling that post covid some routines had slipped, no minibar, one tea bag, hand towels not replaced, rarely any pool towels when required. The sky bar meal we had was ok, a Caesar Salad, but in a city where good, sensibly priced, food can be had on every street corner changing over £60.00 for it seemed off.

Room was very spacious, but not quite dusty and not too well maintained. Lights were insufficient, coupled with dark carpets made the room look really dim at night. No sitting piece like chairs or sofa, nor a desk, so not able to do much work. As a "business hotel", thats not very ideal. Insufficient cutlery as well. Overall ok for the price

Staff was typically good, and the room was also good. The hours for the rooftop lounge, pool, etc were horrible. Only open for a few hours and odd hours at that. The surrounding area is mediocre, not too much of interest to walk to. The price for food and drinks are kinda expected to be high, but at the Mode, they are very, very high. It is next to a train station, so that is a big plus. Overall, the Mode was fine, but for the price and everything else accounted for, there are better hotels to choose from.

A Place That Is Worthwhile
Place was relatively overhauled - clean with minor make over after COVID. Location can never be better - just outside Surasak BTS.

Will not stay here again
We booked 3 rooms, but check in takes a little bit long time. Two of the rooms the electricity for charging are not working. And then we need to call the technician to come up to check. One of the room the hair dryer is not working. We will not coma back to stay in this hotel again. The breakfast buffet food items is enough and the swimming pool is quite ok.

Smelly towel, stay for 5nights in total, and the housekeeping never vacuum the floor. From day one till check out, the same spot with same dust and hair. The toilet is dirty and stain.

Great property! Love the location conveniently right off the BTS train stop. Easy access to all the night life and culture, but away enough for peace and quite in Bangkok. Fantastic view from upper floor suites which included VIP access to their M Club rom. Very chic!. Great roof top bar with amazing views. Strange layout, but it worked. Room, bed, shower, etc. were super comfy. An actual mattress and bedding rival that of any luxury brands. Room was clean, but found straggling long hair throughout the floor. Housekeeping could be a touch better. Room furnishings shows significant aging and wear and their light control was not very user friendly. Despite the little details, we would stay there again in a heart beat because of value. The infinity pool area was wonderful, but again, shows significant signs of aging (minor broken pool tiles, rust on their jacuzzi. Unfortunately guests who smokes cigarettes ruins the vibe and the experience.

Second visit. Staff are amazing. Executive suite is comfortable and spacious. Towels could be nicer in quality. Lobby is too cold. Elevators are efficient. Breakfast buffet is amazing for the price. Above all I return due to its convenient location and the outstanding staff!!!

Spacious and Comfortable Stay
1st time stay at Mode Sathorn. What impressed me was the layout of its room. They were spacious and comfortable, value for money- especially their huge toilet ! The only downside i felt was that the lightings in the room were not sufficient (without drawing the curtains) i could hardly see to read in the room except turning on their reading lamp.
